• Question: why is a bicycle easier to control when it's moving

      Because it has inertia, so the movement forwards wants to keep doing that. It also doesn’t want to fall over as the spinning wheels generate another force, a moment which keeps the bike upright. We use this in our satellites to help keep them pointing the right way- we have spinning wheels.
