Remember there are many kind of intelligence, IQ is not necessarily the best way to test it. Some people are excellent in practical things others are great in theory.
I don’t know. But I will say that working in this industry needs people with many different skills, and that there are many routes into it too. The important thing is to able to work in a team, communicate and ask questions.
No idea – I’ve never been tested properly (the online tests aren’t really reliable). I will guess between 100 and 130, since this is about the range that engineers fall in. I don’t consider myself to be super intelligent, and certainly my colleagues are often cleverer than I.
As the others mentioned, IQ isn’t everything! Other skills that you learn and naturally have are at least as important.
