Question: what is your favourite thing about your job?

There’s lots! I like the work – it’s interesting, I learn a lot and I get to work on some cool stuff. No two days are the same, so it’s usually not very boring (sometimes it is, but that’s normal for any job!!). I like that I can work in many places, fun places, and visit many more! I like that I get a good salary and can use it to do what I want in life. I like and am inspired by my colleagues and peers, like Adam, Aron, Neil and Jess – I read their answers as much as you do because I want to learn about the cool stuff they’re doing 🙂

But most of all I like that I am basically taking science, combining it with human ingenuity, and helping to design machines that can improve the life quality and knowledge of humanity… it is really satisfying!
