• Question: what is the most useful science in the world today to study?

      There isn’t one, it is all important.

      Things are connected to one another, you can’t just study one field and some of the most useful things come out of one field of science making use of something created by another field of science.

      On a personal note: it is clearly robotics.

      I hope that we have more scientists studying lots of different things so that all our lives, and the future of our Earth is better. My sister works on Brain research for example, and I think that that is just as interesting and very useful as my job.

      All of them! The thing I like at the moment is the way we can draw connections between lots of different fields to make new things and answer questions.

      For example, some of my colleagues are using DNA to behave like tiny machines, to help build extremely small structures – engineering at the nano scale.
