• Question: what is the difference between a motor and engine?

      Generally, motor is mechanical, with moving parts, which is is used to do work whereas an engine can be anything that is used to work, whether or not it has moving parts. A rocket engine is where different liquids or gases combust and that produces the work rather than moving parts.
