Question: What characteristics does your job look for when hiring young engineers?

Enthusiasm, and able to work in a team. We recruit at apprenticeship and graduate level, so need different people with different skills, but a practical mind (eg can build furniture or knows how a at engine. Works) is a good starting point. For graduates, we like engineering (mechanical, aerospace, electrical) or physics or maths. For everything, maths is important!
