Oooh, I quite liked biology! Living things are fascinating machines and I loved learning about them. We actually try to copy some of the clever ideas in life in our machines to make them better, so knowing a few facts about biology has been helpful, too.

I also found, for some reason, that I really enjoyed geography! Learning about the world, where all the countries are and who lives in them and how, I found that really interesting…

Strangely, I never liked maths very much, but I did know it was important and so stuck with it. I’m glad I did – even though I was never an expert, it gave me some skills I needed to become an engineer and do the fun things I do now 🙂
