• Question: is there anything you would like to invent

      Already working on it.

      The great thing about engineering is that as soon as you have an idea for a invention you can start thinking about how to actually make it, as long as current technology allows.

      That aside I would really-really like a transporter (teleportation machine).

      I would love to invent a machine that stopped time for everyone else except me! Then I could have more time in bed in the morning and more time to do everything (work and hobbies).
      But, realistically that won’t happen, so my next choice is a Solar Sailing spacecraft. This is a spacecraft which would have big sails and use photons from the Sun to push it through space – it would be able to go very fast. The concept has already been designed, but there hasn’t been a space mission to do it yet as no one has been able to work out how to get sails big and light enough to unfold and work in space. So, that would be an invention I would like to be part of, especially as I love sailing on the Earth! Something else which would be good to help invent would be something which could remove carbon dioxide from the Earth’s atmosphere.
