I would say hard! It takes many very well-trained people many years and many millions of pounds to build even a small satellite. I would say a new satellite is about as hard to build as the first first of a new type of car, perhaps – although it is hard to say, since I don’t design cars!!

How hard is it? As with many things, the first time you do something can be very difficult. But you learn by doing, and so it becomes easier. The tricky thing is that the work changes a lot, so you always have to learn more things – but this is fun, so it’s OK 🙂
