• Question: Have you made anything that is in space now?

      Yep, something I helped to make and test is in orbit around the Moon and another is in orbit around Mars.

      Though not quite making something, I once had a job ‘driving’ the Cassini spacecraft, currently in orbit around the planet Saturn (the one with the big impressive rings). I was designing programmes to send to Cassini so that it would observe the correct moon at the correct time and then scan its instruments to make maps etc.

      Not yet – in 2016 two of my missions will be launched so please keep your fingers crossed that it goes smoothly!

      No – there was one thing I built but it has since come back to Earth so isn’t there now 🙂 I’m hoping that a few more of the things I have made will go up soon!!
