• Question: @ adam , As an engineer is it possible to make some sort of machine that makes it possible forus to speak,talk or scream in space ?

      Well, the crew of the ISS can talk to each other just fine and they are in space, right? If you’ve seen any spacewalks, everyone can talk to each other while being in space, but that is because the space suits they are in are pressurised with air so that they can breathe (and talk) in space. Sound doesn’t travel through space because it’s a vacuum, and sound needs something to travel through, like air or water. In space there is nothing (well, very close to nothing) for those pressure waves to travel through.
      If we could ‘be’ in space without space suits, then we would need to worry about that. From what I understand, being in a vacuum without a space suit is not a very pleasant experience!
